2018年红葡萄酒类别中,一等奖来自于拉曼恰产区。
“质量”是监管委员会在其XXXII颁奖典礼上的一天中最常见的词汇之一。这些奖项的目的是鼓励酒庄去努力获得更高的市场份额,通过红酒的质量来赢得消费者的信任。
此次比赛品尝了超过400款不同级别的葡萄酒,约215款葡萄酒样品超过了80分,有111款葡萄酒进入决赛:50款干白(包括气泡酒)、7款桃红、25款新酒和29款经过橡木桶陈酿的干红(佳酿、珍藏等)。
我们很荣幸库尔瓦藤系列的丹魄&西拉能够获得2018年拉曼恰产区红葡萄酒类的新酒的一等奖。
BODEGAS NARANJO was founded in 1898 by Gaspar Naranjo Coello, ancestor of the current owners who are the fifth generation to manage this hundred year old winery. LOCATED in the province of Ciudad Real in Carrión de Calatrava, it is situated in the heart of the Calatrava region, in the south east of the zone embraced by the LA MANCHA Denomination of origin, an area situated on a plain at an altitude of 700 metres. THE SOIL is composed of thick layers of rock detritus which gives rise to land which is highly suited to the cultivation of vines.
THE RAW MATERIAL, grapes of the Airen, Macabeo, Moscatel de Grano menudo and Moscatel de Alejandría variety for white wines and of the Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot variety for the reds, is produced by approximately 2000 hectares of vineyards. THE VINES selected for the production of our wines are strictly controlled by the technical department of the winery.
They are mostly low, top-pruned vines, cultivated without irrigation or with minimal trickle irrigation. The vines have a maximun capacity of 6000 kg/ha and a minimum of 12 years of age. These characteristics give rise to healthy fruit which has a balanced acidity, is rich in sugar and has a high polyphenol content.
HARVESTING takes place when the grape has reached full maturity and production occurs in autovinification tanks equipped with refrigerating sleeves for automatic control of the fermentation. Once MALOLACTIC fermentation has taken place, the wines are aged in barrels of american or french oak and will later be transferred to bottles where they remain just long enough to give them the subtle and balanced touch that characterises our wines.
